Parenting challenges of the 21st century is indeed getting harder than ever as children are now proving harder and more wiser than their parents. Being a parent these days is a very big work that calls for multiple tactics if a couple is to have a fair story to tell about their experiences.

A 64-year-old man who narrated his experiences said that 'parenting comes with multiple challenges, mixed blessings of various kinds but.......certainly not for the fainthearted'!

 Many parents who had passed the stages of training their children are all of the same opinions re-echoing what the father of four said above.

For those who had gone through that wonderful experience, we are happy with you as we hope to emulate your fine examples in successfully handling that God-given assignments of bringing up the kids to well rounded adults in the society . It's certainly not a joke to pass through the 20-years project and stand tall to relate one's experiences.

We are all interested in living and enjoying our lives to the full despite the untold challenges that life is filled with. We want to achieve our dreams be it spiritually or secular and stand out among the rest as those who have accomplished their desired goals in life. 

Even Life's Difficulties Do Present Us With Choices To Make

Is there even a time when a person could be said to be without any choice to make in life? What in the first place if at all possible could lead to that?  Certainly, so many things could possibly cause that but much depends on the individual's permission.
 I will expand more on this much later.
And so it goes that many things in life today could turn a person upside down leaving him with less choices to make if he has any.

Be patient enough to recieve whatever you ask

'Ihe Onye rioro Chi ya ka ona enye ya' (You get whatever you asks God)  but the problem with most of us is that we ask for too many things which God is ever ready to grant us in sequences, but we the ones asking often lack direction and focus on the things we are asking due to inpatients, (Enweghi-ndidi) making us to be working against that, which we are asking or have asked.

How To Be Contented With The Little We Have And Shun Greediness In All Its Forms

It remains a fact that you could possibly dig further despite the the present debt you have gotten so far.

But must you continue to dig further since your desired clean/pure water has been reached? If you continue to dig just to prove and show that you can always go further which may not be necessary, be careful lest you waste all your resources trying to fill the unneeded deep back to how it should have been. We can always go further, but what if the extents to which we have gone still stretches endlessly far into the unknown distances?, Well, that's an indication that greediness has placed a mirage stand for us to aspire for.

  If we allow greediness to stand before us and reality, we might be aiming for nothing at the tail end of the pursuits after all. Yes, times without number, we have been hearing it from those that are fortunate to be coming back alive from the far distance and the mirage journeys, that there are nothing there to strive for with all your efforts or life. Why? They has been there and the journey stretches endlessly far into the future.
As long as we continue to search for that which is not presently obtainable despite having more than enough to get by with, that which we might have been disregarding would continuously remain and appear like decoys to us until we look behind and see the extents to which we had called nothing, that which could have been all that we needed.

Having this check helps us a lot

It should be a course of wisdom for us while we are going to where it is said to be in some larger quantities, not to ignore the little we could (possibly) but sporadically be picking along the way, for these ones are more certain, highly assured than the bigger quantum which you are aspiring for at the expense of those at the tip of your finger. Let us stop wasting our energies unnecessarily but be wise enough to look at the opportunities within us. Let us learn to make do continually with little ones we are picking along the way, perhaps we may not have to go so much far in search of our needs after all. So it makes a whole lot of senses to remain sensible and say no to striving after the winds. Inasmuch as we are making the needed efforts, let's be rest assured that what we have would definitely serve our needs.
    In what ever situations we see ourselves in life, we have to learn how to be contented with the little or much that we have have and shun greediness in all its forms.

Never Get Easily Swept Off Your Feet By Life Unending Bargains

Opportunity lost can never be regained! It is over once it is gone! If you miss it you have no chance again! Do whatever you can to beat the deadline because that is the last set!

  Have you heard the above words with the exclamation marks before? How did you feel and what impulse did it arose in you and with what eventual results? were you carried on or carried away with fears and all the what ifs in the world? Good!

Uncontrolled Anger Always Lead To Regrettable Actions. Be In Control

How long will it take you to measure that glass and cut it to size for me to  have it fixed  and move to the next…!!! Shouts the master in anger!

Sssory sir! In a shivering voice, (his apprentice) you well know that glass is both delicate and fragile, so I have to be very careful not to damage it…

…and so what!!!? Must you spend the whole day being careful thereby wasting my time here,…..and in anger, the master lifts his ladder and mistakenly placed it on the wrong side of the wall thereby smashing all the glasses he had fixed earlier.

Hmm.....What an uncontrolled anger!

                                       Which choice is more appealing? Spending our entire lives doing things over and paying for damages caused or a few extra minutes doing things right?

The above may has been what we had witnessed or had happened to us in a different settings as a result of anger or in a bid to get things done hurriedly instead of doing it gently and rightly.

Think of many accidents/lives that could have been prevented or saved if the right button in our heads had been pressed, yes: a little bit slower or patient could have been more productive, few more minutes of calm, would have proved more rewarding, more smarter and more opportunities to learn and grow would have been extended to us, as we learn from the weak ones as well as the stronger and continuously but harmoniously move along this divine gift called LIFE!

 So let’s beat whatever reasons there may be for us not to do things rightly behind and adopt the attitudes of children in a classrooms as well as that of the many birds that fly in the air. NO PUSHING, NO SHOVERING, One and all to our various destinations at the end of the day.   Peace…!!!!
