Back then, they were just a handful of seasoned authors with good number of readers that were benefiting from the works of the writers who truly knew what they were doing.
But with the advent of the modern technology along with the internet which made many publishing platforms available, there has been upsurge in the number of publishers who are with little or no experience competing with the seasoned authors and writers and what do we have as the result of this? Quantities are now replacing the needs for qualities at some unprecedented scales around the world with basically little or no benefits to the readers who depend on contents producers for some clear directions.

Many people are no longer interested in reading and following instructions of the well known and seasoned writers, but are now more interested in having their own products forced on others to read whether or not of any value to them. Everywhere you go, both online and on the book shelves in different stores, all you have are books of all types dealing with all the imaginable topics but with just very few living up to expectation while thousand or even millions of others are nothing to write none about.
Some has been moved to ask the reasons why it's like this and had continued same for a long time now. Could this perhaps, be because of how profitable writing is said to be? Even if that is the case, won't they learn the art before diving into the profession?
Could this possibly be what they understand giving to mean? But even as that; would it not be better to have, before giving to others so as not to appear foolish? Question upon questions!

Pardon if this sounds condemnatory but in reality that's not what is meant, unless if you feel indicted by this post. If we are to be sincere enough about the points mentioned here and feel the need to take some corrective measures, then why not take up blames and do something reasonable about it?.
Though not discouraging the ideas of having many people as writers, but still even when we are said to be a 'walking books' by nature, that does not mean that we have to become writers if we know very well that can't do it.
We are not condemning the very ideas of becoming a writer here but simply using this as the means to have this important message passed across to all concerned because almost every other endeavors in life have some bearing with it and it's very common.
If reading what the professional writers had spent enough time and effort to write would suffice, thereby pointing us to the right way to go and be more productive in that which we can do better in, then why not spend that extra time of ours and do that instead of insisting that others must hear your own also? What about doing what was suggested at least for the time being and probably postponing adding ours per say.

Everyone is now writing with less and less numbers of people reading, even some of the writers hardly take time to read what they wrote for others who may never even cared enough to read.
That's why many articles online or offline are laden with typos, misspellings and wrong grammars, because the writers are more interested in writing and having it published, than they are about how accurate the information they are providing to the public is.
Worst still, some are just busy copying, lifting what others had spent time to write on to their own platform where it would be regarded as their own work when actually it's not, even without giving any due credits to the original sources of the materials. What a shame!
Since there is money in writing, I can also write even more better than what others are doing and make my own money. (Some reasons) but they often forget that writing comes with heavy responsibility and also that the readers are learned people who know what they are doing. Can you beat that?

Let it be known to the public and especially to those who are merely interested in having valueless contents churned out for the public to read while paying little or no attentions to the qualities, that not all givers are leaders or would even smell the top for any reason, because they are not giving anything of values to the readers; but are beggars camouflaged as the givers which they are not.
They should also be aware that they can give for the next million years and still couldn't find their ways to the top, because they are not giving anything of value but are busy doing what they are not prepared to do. Quacks at most just like the untrained nurses and doctors.
Let them also bear in mind that just like the musical sounds that are everywhere, their rants are sure or may be sure to scale through to the ears of the people, but it doesn't go further than that because no reasonable person will spend his hard earned money to buy a meaningless music.
There are ears that test music and people know when good music are being played even though they cannot make the soothing sounds by themselves. But when you hear a good musical sound, your ears would readily isolate the great sound and send signals to your brain, that this is a good music worthy of listening to because it's filled with sense.

If anyone truly want to give and is passionate about what he gives to the public, then let the person do the first things first. Learn! Learn!! and Re-Learn!!! but even as that, your first sets of works are probably not going to come out excellent. Never mind.
Spend time to read what others who are there before you had written and learn the ways to go about doing it. Make sure that you are convinced of the benefits you derived from reading what they had written, then if you are inspired or motivated to write your own articles based on what you see them doing, Good of you! But then, don't jump head on into what you rarely knows nothing about.
First of all, try to get the necessary training and get yourself really equipped to do what would be of benefit to the readers and other writers as well.

Let's get one basic fact straighten up here too, inasmuch as there are writers, there are actually avid readers who are dying to read great contents everywhere. But another twist to that, is that they may be fluffy writers/authors, but they are certainly no fluffy readers out there.
