Without sounding too religiously or otherwise, I have to authoritatively drive this important point in this way: ‘If an iron tool is dull and one does not sharpen its edge, he will need to exert much effort. But wisdom helps to achieve success’.
As a reference, this is coming from the book of Ecclesiastes chapter 10 verses 10, penned down by the congregator, under inspirations from God himself. Good! But what are we picking out from that reference? Well, it is clearly highlighted and underlined for easy recognition.
While going through the verse during my regular Bible reading, I got struck by the profound truths and facts interwoven in that particular verse of the scriptures. Now for an emphasis, whether you believe the Bible or not, let’s repeat the words and see if the impact would make more sense to us. “WISDOM HELPS TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS!!!” Wao! What a word, and a touchy one for that!
Wisdom is all about making right decisions and not just that alone but also acting on them. Yes, the value of wisdom is that it helps the owner to succeed. Sorry if I’m sounding like a pastor or any of those smart guys which I’m not but the issue is that the wisdom in that verse is of great importance for every serious minded individual who want to succeed at whatever he is doing and improve his life. This could be in all important areas of life.
If for instance you have been trying to improve your life and finances with a dull tool, do not be surprised that all your efforts no matter how well intended are bound to yield little results if any, but to get any desired result, a person need to apply wisdom along with efforts, and that calls for exerting his effort by employing sharpening strategies which demands changing his former ways of doing things.
It doesn't matter how long a person might have been doing a particular thing but what really counts is whether he is getting the desired results, if not then, adjusting to the profitable mode would be non negotiable! Talking about the right things to do in this area also calls for some proper understanding of all that is involved in achieving success, but to start with, what is success in the first place?
According to an online dictionary, Success carries the meanings of:
1. Something which happens as a consequence; the outcome or result.
2. The achievement of one's aim or goal in business/financial profitability.
3. One who, or that which, achieves assumed goals. (the antonyms given as *failure*)

Here we round it up as one who achieves assumed goal. We all want to be successful in all we are doing or set out to do and we are always happy whenever that happens because it comes with some senses of achievements because nobody wants to be known as just the best blogger for instance per say, rather we are all clamoring to be successful and impact others with our achievements. However, since achieving any worthwhile thing is such a difficult thing at that, this post is therefore directed at helping us to get the desired results in any of our engagements.
Different types of successes and how to achieve them.
For one person, his desired goals could be how to be prudent with his accumulated wealth to be wise and act responsibly:
Anyone that has money and other life necessities is usually a friend of all. Everyone want to associate with him because they need someone that could be able to cater for their wants and throw things their ways without much pressing so to say. As such, they do everything within their powers to cling with the man with lots of free monies to throw around.
But unknown to these wealth-attracted friends, this same rich fellow knows how he struggled to make his money and is afraid of losing it unnecessarily to the soothsayers even though he want to be regarded as a kind rich fellow who gives to all-but is also seriously worried about any shift in his status in life.
To achieve any stability on how to deal with fellow humans, he has to employ wisdom and successfully map out some strategies in dealing with others without appearing wicked as some people would definitely term him to be. He has to be wise in his spending bearing in mind what it cost him to be where he is presently.........
Another could be on how to manage his business and grow it to a certain level:
When a person starts a business, it is usually with the intention of building it to some levels that he could be able to pay up his initial investments and be able to live comfortable with the proceeds from the ventures. It all starts with how he manages any income that comes from the business especially at the early stage.
Another big boost in business is time management since you can't create more hours in a day, it is left for you to know how to use them wisely and be smart in making business decisions to avoid some likely minor mistakes that could eat deep into your budgets unknowingly. Remember, nothing can come close to this than Wisdom because it helps to achieve success.........
To yet another person, he may have it all but his problem is on how to be acceptable before others especially by his peers without feeling unduly used because of his upper status in life: This has been partially touched at the outset but repetition of it here shows that it is such a serious issue more than the way we often look at it. ........be wise!
Others may be in need of how to better their best in the organization they belong to. All these and many more are what gives different persons some sleepless nights in life because is a goal that they want to achieve and don't don't want fail:

We want to do well in any place we belongs especially in an organization. None of us want to be a dull head or seat warmer so to say, we all want to contribute something meaningful and want to be included in the overall progress of the organization.....That too has no secrete than wisdom properly applied in the right directions, even though it may not be all that easy because some in the circle may not want you to come up on the lime light. It calls for wisdom to have things done properly without causing some unnecessary frictions.
When you acts with wisdom, the results of whatever you are doing reflects same. Be Wise!
