Even while I stayed and worked in a paid employment, I never see my self as belonging there, that's why my fb profile retained "Self Employed" status. What helped me to maintain this attitude despite all the ups and downs that life throws at me are just these tips found in this lines entitled:

These are the tips in detailed form:
*It is never where you are that really matters but what you do and where you are going
*It is never where you stands, sits, or even lies that really counts but what you aspires to take up after your stay there, that is what should justify your actions henceforth.
*If you can't find yourself where you are, then retain your logo so that you can easily put it back without unnecessarily editing and re-editing.
*If you can't do it, don't put on a false front because you would be deceiving yourself much more than you thinks you are fooling others.

So never get so carried away in any vehicle that is taking you to an unknown but promising lands since you are not too sure of what would eventually come up instead of the expected, take notes of all the bending and the sign posts so as to retrace your way back should the expected turns out to be something different.
